To our beloved Future Guests,
Tourism in the Philippines is still prohibited. As of now, all GROUP TOUR 2020 schedules are canceled.
Should the Philippine government open tourism this year, ONLY PRIVATE tours will be allowed to minimize interaction between guests.
Everything has been affected by the pandemic, even the cost of operations. Prices stated in our pre-Covid19 materials/publications will be updated once we have updates from our government. It is still best to stay at home. Keep safe, everyone!
Much love,
The Wanderwalkers team
A Balabac Private Tour is for you if:
This is best for couples, families or group of friends who want to visit Balabac together. Although there is a standard itinerary, we can customize it to fit your needs.
However, if you want to spend less, then you can join our Balabac Group Tour where we pool people together for a specific travel schedule!
As long as your travel date allows you to have minimum of 3D2N in Balabac, then we can accommodate you.
Pick from 3D2N, 4D3N and 5D4N.
3D2N – For travelers who have limited time. Visiting all islands in the inclusions is not guaranteed, but you still get to go to the most beautiful ones like Onok Island, Candaraman Sandbar, Mansalangan Sandbar and Punta Sebaring beach and sandbar. If you want to visit all destinations in the inclusions, then you should go for 4D3N.
4D3N – Ideal length of time to travel the highlights of Balabac. You get to visit all the top destinations without hurrying to leave for the next.
5D4N – More laid back than 4D3N. You will still visit the same set of islands (plus a bonus) but spend more time in each one.

Our list of pick up lodge/hotel in Puerto Princesa.
Choose from the following pick up/dropoff hotels/lodge in Puerto Princesa. It is suggested that you stay here the night before your trip.
Budget accommodation/backpackers:
Mid-range accommodation:
Since it is difficult for guests to arrange their own transportation from Puerto Princesa to Buliluyan port where our private boat picks you up, we are including the van transpo in our package. We only outsource the van and driver, and coordinate/mediate between guest and driver for the pick up.
For tours with 5 people or less, the van is shared (which means the driver picks up other passengers along the way. If you don’t like the idea of this, you may opt to book a private van which will incur additional cost.
For tour 6 and above, the van is private. Sometimes our crew with supplies will ride along with the van.
Given this, please expect that there may be late notice in the pick up time if the 3rd party transport group adjusts their schedule. If any changes happen, we will update you.
Our Balabac Private Tour itineraries are rough estimates only. It is highly subject to change due to weather, wind, wave condition. Don’t expect a perfect itinerary in Balabac.
Before reading below, make sure you have read the difference of 3D2N, 4D3N and 5D4N here.

Note that our standard itinerary suggests that you should arrive to Puerto Princesa a day before (Day 0) that start of your tour to maximize Day 1.
Starting your tour on the same day of your arrival to PPS is possible only if you take the earliest flight which arrives to PPS at 6-8am. We will then pick you up from the airport and send you to Balabac and visit 1-2 islands before arriving to our beach campsite. This counts as Day1.
If you arrive at 9-10 am, you may still start the tour but you will not be able to hop to an island before arriving to the campsite. This still counts as Day 1.
If you arrive later than 11 am, you will not be able to reach the campsite by daylight, so it is best to start the tour the next day.
All payment transfers for our Balabac tours, whether local or abroad should be done in any of the following methods.

The wanderwalkers did a wonderful job coordinating everything and communicating with us about each detail of the trip. We did a 4D3N private tour which was a good amount of time to see everything we wanted to see. The homestay location was nice and well hosted. Like the information that the WanderWalkers provided, it is not for the posh travelers, but more for people looking to get away from the touristy locations and spend some time with nature. The boatmen were so kind and patient and even helped us with our photos. We will be planning to come back again because we loved every minute of the trip!
We took a private trip to Balabac with them last December!what to say? Everything was just perfect: food, accommodation, kindness of the staff, they also were so flexible and helpful in changing the schedule as our flight was delayed!!I usually organise my trips by myself but I am so happy we chose to go with them!!!!
The tour with The WanderWalkers was amazing, everything is perfectly organized, you don’t have to worry about anything, they will take care of you, from carrying you to the island to feeding you with great food and with hospitality.
The island where you will sleep, it’s an amazing way to leave the island with the real behavior, you could choose to sleep in tent or in bungalow, but for sure you will experience the real “wild” part of the island.
in the evening the start that you could see from the beach are amazing and for sure is something you will never forget.
the island tour show the best of those island, colors and nature are the protagonist of the view.
Safety is never an issue, you feel safe at any time.
You will discover how fantastic is to be on a desert island with your family.
The only suggestion is to bring mosquito’s spay to save your body from sand insects.
The organization was always in contact with us even when we had a problem with our flight and they were assuring us the best solution to solve our problem.
one of the best holiday even done!

go and visit BALABAC
