Happy New Year from our team in Balabac! Along with the coming of 2023 are changes in supplier prices including below:
–Increased tariff prices for boat rentals. The tourism office will start to regulate the prices of boat rentals this year. While we are not excited to increase our package price, we’re satisfied that it is for our local crew, and not for the government.
–Second increase in entrance fee of Patawan Island. We’ve been contemplating if we should remove Patawan Island in the package to lower down the package cost. But since it is the highlight of Day 1, and it serves as a beautiful destination after a long travel time, we decided that keeping it in the itinerary will be more beneficial to our guests’ experience.
–Inflation on all other supplies including food and diesel. Inflation in 2022 is the worst, yet we have not considered increasing our rate to cope up with hiking food costs, until now.
For these reasons, we have increased our package so that we can continue to support our local crew, while providing the best Island Life Experience to our guests. Thank you for your understanding!
